I like this photograph because the band is in shadows with the light background. This then gives the band a bit of a mysterious sense about them which could portray their band name or their songs. What i don't like about this photograph because the area is not compatible with the making of the video.
Again this photograph is good for the band album because the subject is in a good position for the picture and the background complements the mysterious link between the photographs.
What i don't like about this is maybe the place is a little dirty for the photographs- to fix this problem we could photoshop them image to remove the rubbish around the subject or seen.
For this photograph i like the location and the archway for the band identity album photographs only because for the video we think the lighting is to dark and the archway echos which will ruin the sound of the band. The bad thing about this photograph is the subject is in the lighter area of the photo and it is hard to see her- what could be done is to change the clothing to contrast the light with the dark to be able to see her.
This photograph is a good cover to use for the band identity album. I think this because the lighting in the photograph is very organic and splits directly down the middle of the photo. This could be a theme of 'good and evil' or 'happy and sad'. Also the artists name could be at the top, like a billboard in the tunnel.
These photographs shows where the band could be placed and could also show a theme of opposites- which the light shows in the photograph.
Both the images shows frame within a frame and with the different angle shows another look for the album cover for the band.
I like this image with the subjects at different levels and the sunlight is good how it shows the camera flare which for the image is very affective. Also the angle of the photograph shows the uniqueness and gives the image a good perspective.
For this photograph i think it would be a good album cover as the subject is shown but the blurred round-a-bout gives an affective touch to the image.
Maybe the angle could be slanted to give another effect.
Hi
ReplyDeleteA great idea to do a visit to possible locations for your shoot, look further afield as well to see where else you can find to fit the ideas you have of your own as well as a group then discuss those together.
Research in more depth the photographers in fashion, portraits and music industry to get more ideas on locations and how they can influence the images you create.
